Family Planning 

Our caring, compassionate doctors and nurses are always available to help with any family planning requirements from the evaluation of the best contraception (including Implanon insertion) to pre-pregnancy and fertility advice.

Shared ante-natal care 

Pregnancy is an exciting and sometimes anxious time. Several of our doctors are accredited to provide shared antenatal care with the Mercy, The Northern and the Royal Women’s Hospitals. They are experienced in all aspects of ante-natal care and can share your ongoing health requirements and checkups with your hospital doctors.

Travel Medicine 

Protect yourself and reduce the risk of a nasty surprise when travelling overseas by discussing what health care is appropriate for your destination.
 We do not stock vaccinations. Please make an appointment with your Doctor to discuss appropriate vaccinations to which a script will be issued.

Childhood Immunisation 

Childhood immunisation requirements often change. As well as providing a bulk-billing service for all childhood vaccinations, our Doctors and Practice Nurses are available to talk through any queries or concerns you may have.

Minor Surgical Procedures 

Our qualified doctors are able to perform a range of minor surgical procedures including:

  • Suturing of minor emergency lacerations
  • Removal of lesions/moles
  • Insertion and removal of Implanon hormonal contraceptive
  • Plasters and treatment of simple fractures
  • Cryotherapy (freezing of warts, skin tags and sunspots)

Home and nursing home visits 

Our commitment to servicing our local community naturally extends to providing medical services to those patients who cannot attend the clinic. This includes home visits and nursing home visits.

Spirometry is a test that can help diagnose various lung conditions. It measures the amount (volume) and/or speed (flow) of air that can be inhaled and exhaled.

Spirometry is also used to monitor the severity of some other lung conditions, and their response to treatment

Your doctor will determine if spirometry is appropriate for you.

Iron Infusions

People who suffer from iron deficiency anemia and do not respond to, or cannot tolerate, oral iron therapy may benefit from an intravenous iron infusion.

Your doctor will determine if an iron infusion is appropriate for you.

My Health Record (eHealth)

Your My Health Record contains a summary of your important health information like allergies, medical conditions and treatments, medicine details and imunisations, which can be accessed through one system by your doctor, specilaist and hospital.

Speak to reception if you wish to set up a My Health Record or your doctor if you alreday have a My Health Record and wish to upload a summary.
